UWW 2011 - Nicaragua: Unity despite the diversities
During a weekend we went to a popular square, with the desire to meet new friends and spend an evening with other “candidates to unity.”1 It was really great because we realised how many young people are happy to know about our ideals and are also ready to build bonds of brotherhood. We just need to go and meet them. Therefore we spent an evening together with different games and other activities which gave us the opportunity to build unity, despite all the diversities. They were moments in which we felt protagonists in building a united world. We are all different, but we share the desire to build a new world.1 Chiara Lubich to the Gen, Rocca di Papa, Nov. 14,1981.
